Cancer: Kwara state partners LEAH foundation to screen 4,000 female civil servants

The Kwara State government in collaboration with LEAH foundation, A Non-Governmental Organisation of the wife of the Kwara state governor will screen Female Civil Servants in Kwara state for 6-week over breast and cervical cancer screening,

The 6 weeks screening will commence on Monday with an option of additional two weeks for mop up.

A representative of the wife of the governor, Ayo Adesokan told the press that the programme will ensure that
the people of the state live healthy.

Breast and cervical cancers claim lives of many Nigerians due to lack of prompt and proper check up adding the the screening exercise will significantly reduce the incidence.
